"I sit down and speak with my mom about this everyday, about who I like. I've been to my four official visits, so I've seen all the campuses that I need to see and I feel good with where I am and who I'm liking and who could possibly be my team that I commit to," Harris said.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound safety has built some solid relationships with plenty of coaches at different schools. At the end of the day, he's looking for the best training he can get to prepare him for the next level.
"The biggest factor I guess will be the coaching staff that's going to prepare my skills, my explosiveness, and my ability to get me to the next level. Also, school plays a big factor in it. I'm trying to be an engineer," he said.
Harris has plenty of family in Gainesville and his father played at Florida, so many have asked if those connections will be a factor in his decision.
"(Geography) doesn't even ring a bell in my head. (I have) family in Gainesville, but that has nothing to do with it. I'm my own man, I'm not letting anyone think for me. My dad, he knows it's my decision, he had his decision and his time," Harris said.
Harris has the decision date set but is still unsure of how the announcement will take place.
"I don't' know how I'm going to do it, I might put like a bat signal up in the sky," he said.
