Thomas on Tape

Racean Thomas is one of the most dynamic backs in the class of 2014, and one look at his junior film tells the story of how he has offers from some of the big-time schools in the SEC.

Prospect: Racean Thomas, a.k.a. "Roc"

Vitals: 5-foot-11, 194 lbs

Position: Running Back

Class: 2014

School: Oxford (Ala.) High

Recruiting: Offers from many, but Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Florida and LSU are ahead of the pack for his services.

Quick Take: Thomas can do it all with the ball in his hands. He can beat defenders with speed, quickness, a move in the open field and with power. He features jump-cuts and spin moves both in space and in small running lanes that show off his top-notch vision, and he finished each run with the grit and will of a 4th-and-1 conversion. The junior is a willing blocker in pass protection and has decent hands out of the backfield as well, making him one of the most complete backs in America. Thomas is currently ranked the No. 5 back in the class of 2014 on FOX Sports NEXT/Scout.com.
