Thomas talks spring, visit plans

With SEC coaches on hand, Racean Thomas put on a show Saturday night at his spring game, flashing his five-star status with big run after big run in limited action. Afterward, he spoke to FOX Sports NEXT about his spring recruitment, visit plans and much more.

Racean Thomas is ranked as the No. 3 running back nationally on FOX Sports NEXT/ for a reason, and he proved once again how elite he is on Saturday with a dominating spring game effort against Hueytown (Ala.) High, putting in nearly 150 yards and a pair of scores on just eight carries.

The rising senior did it at 204 pounds, gaining 10 since his stellar junior campaign, though he seemingly hasn't lost a step in the process.

Oxford (Ala.) High's workhorse not only was busy this spring in the weight room, as dozens of top-notch schools stopped by the school to check in on the five-star. Among them, he reports Auburn coming at him the hardest to this point, followed closely by Ole Miss, Florida State and others.

Alabama remains in the mix, and along with Auburn, showed their presence at the spring game.

Thomas has a busy summer schedule on tap as well, and he will take in several campuses now that the spring is complete.

For a detailed look at each school and when he may pull the trigger on a decision, check out our 1-on-1 interview with Thomas, available below.
