The Cyclones' first five conference games: Baylor, at Oklahoma State, Kansas State, at Texas, Oklahoma.

Iowa State figures to once again be a young team in 2014, needing to replace quite a few defensive starters and find some continuity among the offense.

The Cyclones have little margin for error in their first half of the conference schedule, which was announced today. With the three non-conference opponents already on board, here's how the schedule shakes out. Note the home game against Oklahoma could be an Thursday night ESPN game or a Saturday contest.

Sept. 13 at Iowa

Sept. 20 Toledo (FW)

Sept. 27 Baylor

Oct. 4 at Oklahoma State

Oct. 11 Kansas State

Oct. 18 at Texas

Oct. 30 or Nov. 1 OKLAHOMA

Nov. 8 at Kansas

Nov. 22 Texas Tech

Nov. 29 West Virginia

Dec. 6 at TCU

The Cyclones will have two bye weeks in conference play, a luxury they weren't afforded this season, with byes after the season-opener and the third game, against Tulsa.

Homecoming will be Oct. 11 against Kansas State.
