Sunday Game Moved Up Because Of Weather

Auburn will face Texas A&M in a doubleheader on Saturday, moving Sunday's game up because of the threat of severe weather.

Auburn, Ala.--With severe weather and heavy rain expected in the Auburn area on Sunday, Auburn and Texas A&M will instead play a baseball doubleheader Saturday, March 15, with first pitch scheduled for noon CT. Friday's game remains set for a 6 p.m. start at Plainsman Park.

Game two of the Saturday doubleheader will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one, and both games are scheduled for nine innings. There will be no game Sunday.

The stadium will not be cleared between games, and tickets for Saturday or Sunday are good for admission to Plainsman Park. Fans with tickets for Saturday's game are entitled to their reserved seat for game one, and Sunday tickets will entitle fans to their reserved seat for game two of the doubleheader.

Auburn (11-6) opens the SEC schedule against Texas A&M (13-5) before hitting the road next weekend at Tennessee.
