Kerryon Johnson knew he was done taking visits before making a decision as of last week, but he decided to push up his commitment anyway. The four-star running back will now go public with his pledge on Tuesday afternoon during a ceremony at the school.

Kerryon Johnson will play for one of the last three programs to win a national championship.

As to which one of the three finalists for his commitment - Alabama, Auburn and Florida State - we'll have to wait until Tuesday.

The Madison (Ala.) Madison Academy two-way standout confirmed to that he will make his commitment to one of the trio of programs Tuesday afternoon at the school. A small press conference is expected to begin "around" 2:30 CST, he says. He was originally planning on making a pledge during the month of May.

Rated as the No. 4 running back prospect in the class of 2015 by Scout, Johnson is coming off of back-to-back state championship seasons with the Mustangs, amassing nearly 4,000 yards of offense over that span as a dynamic running back and wide receiver.

The 6-foot, 185-pounder visited each of his three finalists over the last month and will not consider another program heading into Tuesday.

Scout ranks Johnson as the No. 52 prospect in America, regardless of position. Recommended Stories
