"I enjoyed the visit a lot," he told Inside the Auburn Tigers. "The atmosphere was crazy for the game and the coaches showed a lot of love. It was a real nice visit."
Asked what he liked about Auburn's A-Day contest, the 6-3, 195 prospect from American Heritage School said, "I liked the fast pace and just the fans--70,000 for a spring game, that's crazy."
A prospect with 30 or so offers, he said that Auburn got his attention. "I met with the coaches and met a few players," he said. "The coaches treated us like one of the players.
"I am looking for good academics, a school that can win the national championship and a place where I can earn playing time along with the atmosphere of the school."
McFadden, who notes that he doesn't believe he is related to former Tiger standout cornerback Walt McFadden, said his favorite cornerback is NFL star Richard Sherman.

Athletically the prospect is focused on football, but does compete on the American Heritage track and field team. "I run on the 4x100 relay and run the 400," he said.
In football, playing for a team that won a 2013 state champion, he plays defense and returns kicks.
Asked if he has a favorite college he said, "No, not yet."
