Rodriguez Signs For Second Time

This talented junior college player has signed his letter of intent to play for the Tigers.

Coffeyville, Kan.--For the second time in a month and a half, receiver Prechae Rodriguez has signed with Auburn.

Rodriguez (6-4, 195) signed with Auburn on Dec. 15 as a transfer from Coffeyville Community College, but due to a new NCAA rule he had to go back to junior college for one more semester. Junior college transfers must have at least 40 percent of their curriculum toward a major completed to be eligible. He had hoped to go through spring drills with his new teammates, but was forced to return to Coffeyville instead.

The talented wide receiver will have three years to play three when he gets to Auburn this summer.

Rodriguez earned second-team All-Jayhawk Conference honors this season after making 39 receptions for 553 yards and a pair of scores. He is an exceptional athlete and should be a big target with his 6-4 frame, a 40-inch vertical leap and 4.4 speed.
