DE Bryant Miller Picks Tigers
Miami, Fla.—Saying for weeks that Auburn was his leader, defensive end Bryant Miller from Central High made it official on Wednesday as he committed to attend Auburn University. "I am excited and I am ready to be a Tiger," Miller told Inside the Auburn Tigers on Wednesday from his school. "It is going to be a good experience." A 6-4, 240-pounder with good speed and strength, Miller signed at his high school at a ceremony. Rated as the number 28 defensive end in the country by Scout.com, Miller also considered Michigan, Michigan State, Miami, South Florida, Ohio State and others before choosing the Tigers and waiting until signing day to announce his decision. Following his visit to Auburn on Jan. 13 he said that Auburn was a big leader for his services and he never waivered despite trips to Ann Arbor and East Lansing the next two weekends. Voted All-County, Miller played in the prestigious California-Florida All-Star game as Florida won 20-0. He will likely begin his career on the strong side of the Auburn defense at defensive end. (More to come.)
