Bonner, a six-foot-five guard/forward, led Auburn in scoring last season as a true freshman with an average of 13.5 points per game. She added 6.5 rebounds per contest. She and Erica White of LSU are the only two SEC players selected for the team.
Bonner, who will turn 19-years-old on August 21st, will play for head coach Joanne P. McCallie, a former Auburn assistant coach during the Joe Ciampi Era.

The Auburn sophomore will join 11 other players at the FIBA Americas Under20 Championship for women August 8-12 in Mexico City.
“This is so exciting, I can’t even explain it,” Bonner says. “I am just going to keep doing what I’m doing. Keep working hard every day. That’s my focus, to get in better shape. I am very proud to represent my country.”
The United States is the defending champion and will open play on Tuesday, August 8th vs. Jamaica. The top three teams at the tournament advance to the world championship under 21 tournament next summer in Guatemala City.
