“It’ll be at 7 p.m. (Eastern) at our spring game at our high school,” Lutzenkirchen tells Inside the Auburn Tigers. “I actually pulled my groin so I don’t know if I’m going to be playing, but it’ll probably be at halftime or after the game.”
Of the pulled groin, Lutzenkirchen adds, “It happened the third day of spring and I’ve just been nursing it since then.”
The four-star tight end prospect is choosing between “Auburn, Clemson and Stanford” and is keeping the announcement rather low key.
“I’m probably just going to put on a hat or a shirt or something,” Lutzenkirchen notes. He hasn’t told the coaches of the school he is going to commit to, but says, “I’ve kind of said a little bit that I favored them.”
Stay tuned with Scout.com and autigers.com for the announcement on Friday.
