Baylor Holds Off Auburn's Late Comeback
Auburn, Ala.--On a night the Tigers didn't shoot the basketball for a high percentage they tried to find a way to win a trip to New York City and the NIT Final Four, but Rasheem Barrett's last-second three-point shot hit the back of the rim and the Baylor Bears escaped Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum with a 74-72 victory on Tuesday night. Auburn connected on just 39.1 percent of its shots and trailed 73-66 with just a little more than a minute to play. The situation looked bleak. However, the Tigers refused to give up and started the comeback as Tay Waller drilled a long-range three in transition with one minute and six seconds left.
