Auburn Fan Day Scheduled for August 15th

Auburn, Ala.--Fans who want to meet the 2010 Auburn football team will have that opportunity on Sunday, August 15th at the new Auburn Arena.

Auburn's annual Fan Day will run from 2-4 p.m. CDT and the doors of the arena will open at 1:45 p.m.

In addition to the football players, head coach Gene Chizik will be at the event that will feature men's basketball head coach Tony Barbee and women's basketball head coach Nell Fortner as well as members of their teams.

Coach Gene Chizik poses for a photo at last year's fan day.

Fan Day includes Aubie, the women's soccer and volleyball teams, the cheerleaders and the Tiger Paws.

There is no admission fee for the event and fans should enter on the south side of the arena next to the practice facility. Fans wanting Chizik's autograph should enter at the scholarship entrance on the southeast side of the facility.

The football players will be on the main concourse level of the arena and the basketball teams will be at their practice facility.

Concession stands will be open for fans who can also purchase tickets for 2010 games at the event.
