Coach Dye To Give His Views at AUTigers.com

Auburn, Ala.--Inside the Auburn Tigers is excited to announce that beginning next week former Auburn head football coach Pat Dye will give his take on Auburn, SEC and collegiate football in general with a series of columns that can be found exclusively at AUTigers.com.

A member of the College Football Hall of Fame, Dye was an All-American player at Georgia and head coach at East Carolina and Wyoming in addition to Auburn.

Dye was head coach at Auburn from 1981 through 1992 and led the Tigers to four SEC championships and coached numerous All-SEC and All-American players including one of the top performers in college football history, 1985 Heisman Trophy winner Bo Jackson.

Dye's teams were known for their intensity and hard-nosed style of play and the coach himself has a reputation for being direct and to the point about taking stands on a variety of subjects concerning the sport he loves.

Readers of AUTigers.com will be able to check out three different weekly columns from Coach Dye. His Dye-gest column will include his thoughts on the previous week's happenings in college football and with a look ahead at coming games. His Dye-log column will feature his views on a variety of subjects, including his memories about interesting happenings regarding his half century as a participant, coach and observer of SEC football.

On Thursdays Dye, who is a member of the Master Coaches Top 25 poll, will give his picks on the winners and losers for every SEC team and every Top 25 matchup.
