The redshirt junior from Mobile has started in 26 straight games. He has 82 career tackles, including 20 for lost yardage with 5 1/2 sacks.
Last season, playing defensive end, he was credited with 43 tackles, seven QB pressures, two sacks, nine tackles for lost yardage, one interception, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, two blocked kicks and two deflected passes.

He has also been named to the watch lists for the Bronko Nagurski Award and the Outland Trophy and made the Playboy Preseason All-America team.
Marks and the Tigers will open their season August 30th vs. Louisiana-Monroe at AU's Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Last year Marks helped the Tigers finish ranked in the Top 10 nationally in total defense. "I think we are going to have a strong defense again this year," Marks says.
