Harbin closed out his senior season for the Yellow Jackets with an undefeated regular season. The defensive lineman had 59 tackles and eight sacks.
2007 Awards: Press-Register Elite 18, ASWA Honorable Mention DL, Press Register Super Southeast 120, Offense Defensive All-American Game Miami, ScoutSouth.com Stars of Alabama.
Junior stats and recognition: 75 tackles, 25 tackles for loss and 11 sacks; All-Metro, All-State; Harbin benches 285 pounds, squats 450 and has a 32-inch vertical jump.
Harbin is also recruited for baseball and says he's thinking about doing both sports on the next level. He plays right field and has a .350 batting average with 32 RBIs, two home runs and 10 stolen bases.
He reports a 3.0 core GPA and a 17 ACT.
Harbin: "I’m tall, so that helps. I'm quicker than most offensive lineman, and I can get around them fast. I think I can also intimate them with my size. I definitely want to get bigger and be harder to move. I'm physical, but want to get stronger."
Harbin bench presses 305 and squats 450.
