| A big playmaker in every sense of the word, Jeffery combines a unique blend of size, athleticism and aggressiveness into what could potentially be an elite defender. Has excellent length and is a very good tackler, so he could grow into an elite LB. 2008: Jeffery missed was injured a knee in the fourth game of the season. He was selected for the Shrine Bowl and Under Armour All-Star Game but was unable to participate. He was named to Mobile Press Register's Super Southest 120.
2007: Damario Jeffrey recorded 109 tackles, five interceptions, five blocked punts, one blocked field goal, four sacks and four forced fumbles. He caught 12 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns on offense. He added 10 rushes for 130 yards and three touchdowns; He benches 275 pounds, squats 485 and has a 34-inch vertical jump.
Jeffrey reports a 2.2 core GPA and has a 17 ACT and 860 SAT, which he plans on retaking.
Jeffrey: "I'm very flexible and can run with anybody. I can play any position because of my size and speed. I played linebacker mostly in high school, but I'll be a safety in college.
"I have great hips and I'm just an old-fashioned go get it-type of football player.
"I think the main thing I want to work on is being more aggressive on the field. Other than that I work on my feet and movement everyday. I also lift and do a lot of speed drills."
