Rowe was struggled with injury during his senior (2008) campaign. He had 108 taklces, four sacks, six caused fumbles, and four fumble recoveries for Opelika. He was given 6A Honorable Mention by the ASWA All-State.
Rowe in his junior season as a starter for Opelika accounted for 107 tackles, four fumble recoveries, five forced fumbles, six sacks, four quarterback pressures, three broken up pass attempts. Rowe has great speed. ASWA All-State First Team LB 6A as a junior.
On special teams Rowe accounted for six tackles.
Hall of Fame Coach Spence McCracken says of Rowe "He is the best linebacker I've coached in 35 years. Excellent grades too."
