2008: 60 tackles, 40 solo, four sacks, a blocked punt and a blocked kick. All-Metro Conference First Team (coaches vote), All Central Florida Second Team DB.
One of the top safety prospects in the entire state of Florida, Mike Jones finished his junior season with 56 tackles, eight sacks, and four caused fumbles. He played in just five games because a shoulder injury ended his season early. He benches 305-pounds and reports a 36-inch vertical jump.
Jones says he wants to be a business major and reports a 3.2 core GPA and a 910 SAT.
Jones: "I'm a hitter. I hit real hard and I've got good speed. I react to the ball real quick and have great instincts. I'd like to work on my footwork and steps."
