Oxford, Miss.--When Cameron Newton caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Kodi Burns for Auburn's first points in a 51-31 victory over Ole Miss, none of his teammates were the least bit surprised.

"We work on that all of the time in practice and Cameron is good at making that play," said junior wide receiver Darvin Adams, who led all receivers in the game with six catches for 75 yards and a touchdown.

The 2010 Tigers are 9-0 heading into next week's home game vs. Chattanooga. Adams said it is no accident the team is having this type of success.

"The offensive line is doing a great job," he said. "I had plenty of time to run pass routes and Cam had plenty of time to throw the football."

Adams, who doesn't normally get too excited, said that looking at the scoreboard on Saturday night and seeing a 51 next to Auburn's name is something to be excited. "As an offensive player, you have got to love that," he said.
