Another two-way player possibility is freshman Keegan Thompson from Cullman. The 2013 Alabama High School Player of the Year may work his way into the starting rotation for the Tigers in addition to playing first base.
Incoming freshman Anfernee Grier is another young guy to keep an eye on. He could play the infield or the outfield for the Tigers.
Returning shortstop starter Dan Glevenyak is off to a good start this fall.
Second baseman Jordan Ebert had a good freshman year for Auburn last season and is versatile enough to play in the outfield if needed.
Third baseman Damek Tomscha is back for his senior season.
Also back is senior left-hander Michael O'Neal. He was Auburn's most consistent starter in 2013.
