Auburn-Alabama Basketball Now Thursday

Auburn's game against Alabama originally scheduled for Wednesday night will now be played on Thursday night following the women's game vs. Texas A&M.

Auburn, Ala.--After consulting with the Southeastern Conference the Alabama at Auburn men's basketball game that was originally scheduled to be played on Wednesday will be moved to a Thursday night tipoff.

The decision was made due to unsafe road conditions in the state due to a widespread winter storm The game will now be played approximately 25 minutes following the conclusion of the Texas A&M at Auburn women's game, which has been moved to a 5 p.m. CST tipoff.

Tickets to Wednesday's game will be used for Thursday's men's game. Tickets to the men's game will also allow fans into the women's game.

AU officials said that fans who are unable to use single game tickets purchased for the original scheduled date, they may be exchanged for a remaining men's basketball game pending ticket availability (offer excludes the Kentucky game on Feb. 12).

Auburn (8-9, 0-6) is looking to break a 16-game losing streak in SEC games while Alabama is looking for its first victory of the season in a game not played in Tuscaloosa.
