Jaleel Laguins FNL Preview

Linebacker Jaleel Laguins has been one of the most talked about recruits among college coaches over the last several weeks. The 2016 standout checks in at 6-foot-2, 210-pounds from Watkinsville (GA) Oconee County High School.

Linebacker Jaleel Laguins has offers from some of the top programs in America. Florida, Penn State, Georgia and Auburn have all extended the talented linebacker a verbal offer. It remains to be seen if Laguins can attend FNL this Friday night in Gainesville, but he hopes to be able to make the trip.

Laguins was not prepared to be one of the most heavily recruited players in his class, so the process is still fairly new to him, but he had good things to say about Will Muschamp.

"He's a great coach," Jaleel Laguins said. "He seems like a great man but I am not sure I will be attending FNL."

Laguins is wide open and will sit back and see which team recruits him the most over the next 18 or so months. When asked what factors he will use to make his decision he was pretty clear.

"Whatever school shows me the most love and what school feels like home the most to me," Laguins said.

Laguins is a well-rounded linebacker but says he wants to improve on man coverage, shedding blocks and pass rushing.
